Numbers & Symbols Practice
Build confidence with the number row and common keyboard symbols through 12 progressive lessons. Start with simple number pairs, then add punctuation, Shift symbols, prices, percentages, dates, times, and mixed real-world patterns.
Complete a lesson with at least 90% accuracy to unlock the next lesson. Aim for 95% or higher before moving on when possible.

How to practice numbers and symbols
Keep your hands close to the home row and reach upward to the number row without looking down. After each key press, return your finger to its normal position.
For symbols that require Shift, use the Shift key with the opposite hand whenever practical. For example, type a left-side symbol with the right Shift key. This helps maintain balance and touch-typing technique.
The final lessons use practical combinations such as 25%, $19.99, 2026-09-01, 1:30, and 5+5=10. Accuracy matters more than speed, especially when learning symbols.
